William K. Bixby Hall
Built in 1926, the stately Beaux-Arts-era Bixby Hall has long stood at the heart of Washington University's School of Fine Arts, now the Same Fox School of Design & Visual Arts. Originally designed to house studios and galleries, Bixby has continually adapted to new needs over the decades, from traditional drawing classes and ornate exhibitions to collaborative print shops and experimental labs. This exhibit follows Bixby's journey as both a physical space and a cultural hub, showing how it has shaped the daily creative lives of WashU students and continues to anchor the university's artistic community.
